VAN BUREN – Marlene V. Sirois, 64, died July 9, 2009, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 14, 1944, in Van Buren, the daughter of Lawrence and Dorilda (Roy) Gagnon. She was employed in the housekeeping department at Borderview Nursing Home, Van Buren, for 24 years. Marlene is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years, Gilbert Sirois of Van Buren; one son, Ricky Sirois; and one daughter, Lisa LaBreck, both of Van Buren; one granddaughter, Ceara LaBreck, also of Van Buren; two brothers, Norman and Percy Gagnon, both of Connecticut; and one sister, Joan Roy of Caswell. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church with Father David Cote, celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
