CARIBOU – Diane L. Hughes, 52, died July 12, 2009, in Van Buren, after a long illness. She was born Sept. 2, 1956, in Shirley, Mass., daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (Loverin) Miller. Diane was a 1974 graduate of Caribou High School and was employed by Fuller Cadillac GMC Jeep, Rockland, where she had lived for a number of years before her illness forced her to return to the Caribou area. She is survived by her two brothers, Peter R. Fox of Caribou and Thomas Miller of Gardner, Mass.; two nephews, Derek and Jared Fox of Woodland; and a niece, Jessica Mill of Gardner, Mass. Diane was predeceased by her father, Ernest in 1959; her mother, Elsie Fox, June 13, 2009; her father, Maurice Fox in 1991; and a sister, Carolyn Fox. Friends may call noon until the time of services Tuesday, July 14, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev.
