HERMON – Jeanne McCarty, 54, died July 11, 2009, at her home, after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 2, 1955, in Bangor, daughter of James C. and Madaline (Gordon) McCarty. She graduated from Hermon High School. Jeanne had been most recently employed at Target. She will be missed by her sister’s dog, Rosie, whom she took extra care of. Surviving in addition to her father, are her sister, Brenda Tarr and her husband, Kenneth; and two nephews, Ryan and Kevin. She was predeceased by her mother. Relatives and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Evergreen Cemetery, Diesel Shop Road, Hermon.
