CHARLESTON, Maine – State Police say a 23-month-old boy drowned earlier this month in Charleston after wandering away from his bed during the night and climbing out a window.
Dominic Nee was discovered missing when his parents woke up in the morning in the camper trailer they were staying in.
A search of the property found the toddler face down in a brook, and the State Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a drowning.
The death took place on July 8.
The parents are Michael and Carolyn Nee and they were staying on relative’s property while preparing to move into a new home in Milo.
