HAMPDEN and ST. DAVID – Sharon Lavoie, 28, died unexpectedly July 27, 2009, at her home. She was born March 22, 1981. She is survived by her best friend and mother, Joan (Michaud) McPherson and spouse, Ray; father, Joel Lavoie and spouse, Debbie; brother, Corey and spouse, Elizabeth; nephew, David; maternal grandparents, Raoul and Aurore; many loving aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Leo Paul and Clemence. Sharon received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, where she graduated with honors in 2004. Her favorite pastimes included reading, hiking, music, TV and movies. A visitation will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. David Parish with a service beginning 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please take a sunny afternoon walk and remember the memories you shared with her.
