NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR PENOBSCOT NURSING HOME is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Administrator of this 96 bed multi-level facility. The Nursing Home Administrator will plan, coordinate and direct the operation and activities of the nursing home. This includes enforcing local, state, and federal rules and regulations governing the operation of nursing homes. The Administrator will prepare, implement, and monitor the budget. This individual will also oversee the activities of all professional and non-professional personnel engaged in providing care to residents. Qualified candidate should be a licensed Multi-level Nursing Home Administrator. Candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of the rules and regulations pertaining to nursing home operations; thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of resident care in an institutional setting; thorough knowledge of MaineCare reimbursement systems; the ability to plan and direct the work of subordinates; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, residents, officials regulatory representatives, and the general public.
