EDMUNDS TOWNSHIP – Carolyn Carter, 78, passed away Aug. 4, 2009, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 3, 1931, to Frank and Millie (Robinson) Marshall. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Chester Carter Sr.; and five children, Patricia Katchinoski and husband, Ron, of Texas, Dorothy Knowlton of Massachusetts, Linda Carter of Edmunds Township, Chester Carter Jr. of Edmunds Township and Thomas Carter and Emily of Edmunds Township; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Per her wishes, there will be a private burial at Dennysville Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
