ELLSWORTH — Karli Theberge pitched a no-hitter while striking out 12 and walking six Thursday as Hermon’s ages 9-10 all-stars capped an undefeated run through state softball tournament play with a 4-1 championship victory over Scarborough.
Falmouth defeated York 10-6 to win the 9-10 baseball title.
Theberge also did it with the bat, singling in two runs to spark a three-run third inning for Hermon.
Alessa Oakes was Hermon’s other repeat hitter with a triple and a single.
Mary Farnkoff reached on an error and scored for Scarborough.
