ORONO – Connie left us to be with the Lord and her husband, George, Aug. 5, 2009. Connie was born Oct. 4, 1940, to Imigene (Titus) and Robert Reid. Connie worked for 15 years at James Taylor Hospital until she retired and became a homemaker. Connie enjoyed watching her sons in their sporting events and volunteering with the youth groups. She enjoyed being with her eight grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren. Connie loved knitting special blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful person who gave to her family and will be missed dearly. Connie was predeceased by her husband, George Norsworthy; her mother and father, Imigene and Robert Reid; and her brother, Bobby; and her sister, Beverly. Connie is survived by her sons, Tim and his wife, Brenda, David and his wife, Lisa, and Michael and his wife, Karen; her daughter-in-law, Lori; her sisters, Maryellen, Nancy and Sandra; and her brother, Dale. Connie is also survived by eight grandchildren, Amy and her husband, Jeremy, Katie, Timmy, Jake, Michelle, Ryan, Katlynn and Desaree; and three great-grandchildren, Patrick, Nathan and Maria. There will be a graveside service on a date to be determined by the family. We give praise to the Lord for the gift of Connie in our lives. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
