Megan Morin Michael Taras SOUTH PORTLAND – Megan Morin and Michael Taras were married on May 30, 2009, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bangor. A reception was held afterward at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono. Megan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morin of Lincoln. Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nystrom of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Taras of Rochester Hills, Mich. The wedding party included Mrs. Jenny Hnatiuk of Richmond Hills, N.Y., as matron of honor; Mr. Uche Wejinya of Fayetteville, Ark., as best man; Ms. Lori Currier of Warwick, R.I., Ms. Natalie Jones of Scarborough and Ms. Caitlin Ravin of Brooks as bridesmaids; Mr. Matthew Morin of Boston, Mr. Christopher Trepanowski of Grosse Point, Mich., and Mr. William Quach of Alta Loma, Calif., as groomsmen; Macy Dishon of East Millinocket as flower girl; and Mark Rittner of Rochester Hills, Mich., as ring bearer. Megan is a 2001 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln and a 2007 graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is the pharmacist-in-charge at CVS Pharmacy in Cape Elizabeth and received the 2009 Paragon Award from CVS Pharmacy. Michael is a 2000 graduate of Sterling Heights High School in Sterling Heights, Mich.; a 2003 graduate of Michigan State University with a pre-pharmacy degree; and a 2007 graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a doctor of pharmacy degree. He is a pharmacist for Hannaford in Westbrook and a Rho Chi scholar. The couple spent their honeymoon on a Mediterranean cruise to Italy, Greece, Turkey and Egypt. They reside in South Portland.
