OLD TOWN – Alice P. Dupuis, 90, wife of the late Lionel Dupuis, died Aug. 23, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 22, 1919, in Old Town, the daughter of the late Harry J. and Josephine M. (Seymour) Cote. Alice was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Senior Citizens and RSVP. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Young and her husband, Richard, of Milford, and Lynn Hanscom and her husband, David, of Carmel; five sons, Allen Dupuis and his wife, Christine, of Long Island, N.Y., Gary Dupuis and his wife, Carole, of Harvard, Mass., John Dupuis and his wife, Toni, of Carmel, Vernon Dupuis and his wife, Becky, of Old Town, and Kenneth Dupuis and his wife, Margo, of Orono; 14 grandchildren, Melissa Dupuis, Andrea Durand, Justin Thibodeau, Scott Dupuis, Jessica Thompson, Zachary Dupuis, Sophia Dupuis, Patrick Dupuis, Brandon Dupuis, Angela Squarcia, Kyle Dupuis, Chad Dupuis, Halley Carleton and Sarah Harrington; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Florence Dupuis and Rose Dupuis, both of Old Town. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Dupuis; a sister, Alvina Cyr; and two brothers, Clarence and Clement Cote. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at Resurrection Parish of the Lord, Holy Family, Old Town, with the Rev. Thomas Farley, celebrant. Interment will be afterward at St. Joseph Cemetery. Immediately after the services at the cemetery all are invited to return to Holy Family Parish Center for a light luncheon and continued fellowship.
