DEXTER – Jack Allen Parker Sr., 55, died Aug. 27, 2009, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born May 3, 1954, in Chicago, a son of Weldon and Sylvia (Slyk) Parker. Jack was president and chief executive officer of Parker Business Solutions, Inc. In the 1960s, he sang and played the keyboard for the music group, “The Buckingham’s.” He is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Rebeclyn, both of Dexter; a son, Jack Jr.; and a grandson, Jack III. He is also survived by a brother and three sisters. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter.
