LUBEC – Jeffrey Richard Varney, 60, died unexpectedly Sept. 4, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 26, 1949, in Machias, son of Kenneth and Frances (Foss) Varney. He is survived by two sons, Larry and Brandon; two brothers, Steven and Robert “Bobby”; grandchildren, Crystal, Tyler and Mallory; a great-granddaughter, Kayla; and his previous wife, Wanda (Lingley). He was predeceased by his parents. Graveside memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Lubec. Arrangements by McClure Family Funeral Services.
