DEXTER – Marshall Chandler, 79, died unexpectedly Sept. 16, 2009, at his residence. He was born May 10, 1930, in Dexter, a son of Erwin and Anna (Edgecomb) Chandler. Marshall served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an appraiser with Norm Cookson Realty, Dexter, for many years. He was a member of Penobscot Lodge Masons, Anah Shrine and Dexter Club. He is survived by his fiancee, Trudy Storman of Lisbon and her family; a stepdaughter, Patricia Chandler of Gorham; and a brother, Hadley Chandler and friend, Pamela Rowe, of Fairfield. Graveside committal services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
