ROCKLAND – Chester E. Lenfestey Sr., 83, formerly of Jonesport, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at his home with his wife, Margaret, at his side, after long illness. Friends and relatives are invited to visit 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Interment will be afterward at West Rockport Cemetery, Park Street, West Rockport.
