ELLSWORTH – Mary E. Giles, 84, died Sept. 22, 2009, at an Ellsworth health care facility. She was born Aug. 15, 1925, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Sterling B. and Virginia S. (Pinkham) Wescott. Mary was a member of United Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Rodney Sterling Wescott; a sister, Josephine Warren; and brother-in-law, Kenneth E. Jordan, all of Ellsworth; and special niece, Karen Mulhern. Mary was predeceased by her parents; sister, Priscilla W. Jordan, March 17, 2006; and brother, Thaddeus P. Wescott, April 3, 2006. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth, with the Rev. Scott Conners officiating.
