ADDISON and CHERRYFIELD – Jonathan David Brock, 21, of Addison, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, as a result of a tragic accident. He was born Sept. 15, 1988, in Fort Bragg, N.C. Brock loved going fishing, riding ATVs, going mudding, paintballing and playing video games. He touched a lot of peoples’ lives as much as they touched his. He will be truly missed by all his family, friends and co-workers, whom are too many to mention. In addition to his mother, Michelle Peabody of Addison, he is survived by a sister, Jamie Alfaro and husband, Hugo; niece, Hailey; nephews, Hugo and Braden, all of Portsmouth, Va.; maternal grandmother, Sarah Fletcher and husband, Gene, of Columbia Falls; maternal grandfather, Almer Peabody and his wife, Donna, of Hampden; his uncles, Kerry Peabody and wife, Carrie, of Scarborough and Alan Peabody and wife, Christine, of Aurora, Colo.; and special cousins, Mike, Chris and Brimwin Peabody. Other special people include his best friend, Lee Tucker; Lindsey Grindle; their mom, Melissa Backman and husband, Fred, of Milbridge; John and Donna Grant and family of Columbia Falls; and his special friend, Koral Jellison of Cherryfield. He was predeceased by a special uncle, Arnold Ingersoll of Columbia Falls. A service of remembrance will be celebrated 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at Harrington Veterans’ of Foreign Wars Hall, Route 1A, Harrington. Private burial will be held at a later date.
