DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Patricia Muriel (Speed) Michalski, 68, passed away Sept. 17, 2009, in Daytona Beach, Fla. She was a lively and courageous woman to the end. Mrs. Michalski was born May 17, 1941, in Bradford. She was the youngest of 12 children. She lived in Dover-Foxcroft for many years with her first husband and their three children. In 1969 she married William E. Michalski and together they had one son. Mrs. Michalski is survived by her husband, William; her children, Sharron (Clark) Denker, Michael Clark, Tamara Clark, and Brent Michalski and his fiancee, Jackie Kowalski. She is also survived by her sisters, Annie Speed, Louella Snow and Shirley Harris and her husband, Richard; and two dear nieces, Janice Zoerheide and her husband, Bill Mudgett, and Kathy Cookson Stuck and her husband, Richard. She is further survived by six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Lona and twins, Ruth and Rebeca; as well as brothers, James, Lawrence and Daniel; and sisters, Vernesiah and Genieve. A memorial service will be held in her honor 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Bradford Baptist Church, Bradford. Family and friends are encouraged to make donations in her memory to Bradford Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
