MILLINOCKET – Steven Dewaine Seamans, 59, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009. He was born July 13, 1950, in Millinocket, the son of Bexton and Bernice (Burleigh) Seamans. Steven loved his garage and he loved to travel with his wife to Florida and Alaska, but no more so than his trips up the Golden Road. Steve had many, many friends in this community. He would always lend a helping hand to whomever stopped by whether he knew them or not. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Bernice Nickerson, Steven is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sue E. Seamans; his children, Mike Seamans and his wife, Tara and their two daughters, Kiara and Destinee, and Shelli Madore and her husband, Tony; two sisters, Earlene Andrick and her husband, Paul, of Millinocket, and Sandra Tibbitts and her husband, David, of Paisley, Fla.; two brothers, Dennis Seamans and his wife, Susan, and Roger Seamans and his wife, Donna, all of Millinocket; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
