INDIAN TOWNSHIP – Vincent DePaul Socoby, 57, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009. Vincent was born March 23, 1952, on Peter Dana Point, son of the late Albert and Mary (Dana) Socoby. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Vincent was predeceased by a daughter, Tonya Socoby; a special cousin, Peter Bassett; and his aunts and uncles. Surviving are his four children, Tiffany Socoby of Indian Township, Henry Socoby and his wife, Alison, of Indian Township, Robi Socoby of Orono, and Troy Socoby of Portland; three grandchildren, Joel Hayward II of Baileyville, and Dakota and Brittany O’Neil of Indian Township; many cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, until 3 p.m. Wednesday at Elderly Meal Site, Indian Township.
