ALTON – Abigail Lynn Dow was born at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Eastern Maine Medical Center, to parents Timothy and Nicole (Sirois) Dow Sr. She weighed 3 pounds, 6 1/2 ounces and was 15 1/4 inches long. Abigail’s family was blessed with six and a half days with her before she died in her parent’s arms and passed gently into the arms of Jesus at 11:44 p.m. Oct. 6, 2009. She was able to experience showers of hugs and kisses from her family before she went to her heavenly home. Abigail is deeply loved by her daddy and mommy, as well as her big brother, Tad. She is survived by grandparents, Phillip and Janet Dow Sr. of Albion, Bion R. and Joan Pike of Cape Neddick, as well as Bill and Lisa Sirois of Old Town; and her great-grandparents, Don Pete of Bangor, Donna Johnson of Skowhegan, Virginia Dow of Albion, Sheila Stratton of Augusta and Bion H. Pike of South Waterford. A great-aunt, Michele and her husband, Randy Baker, of Brewer are also going to miss her. Aunts and uncles to the precious baby girl include Adam Sirois, Kristy Baker, Isabelle and Sophie Pike, Jason Sirois, Kevin Pete, Linda O’Connor, Andy and Mary Dow, Matthew and Amy Dow Sr., Phillip and Rose Dow Jr., and Jason and Heidi Dow. The many cousins left mourning her loss include Drew and Trey Baker, Nathan and Raychel Pete, Lance and Courtney Roy; and her Dow cousins, Faith, Charity, Grace, Matthew Jr., DaLaney, Emma, Rachel, Marissa, Phillip III, Brittany, Jacob, Gabrielle, Kelly, Joshua and Hannah. Close and special friends Andy, Lauren, Ethan, Lucas and Maggie Rudnicki will forever hold Abigail in a special place in their hearts. She was predeceased by her great-grammie, Lynn Pete; great-grampy, Erving Dow; and great-great-grammie, Gertrude Sibley. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at The Rock Church, Brewer.
