LITTLETON, Maine – State Police say a Houlton man was killed this morning in a one vehicle crash on Route 1 in Littleton.
Barry Clark, 56, was killed instantly when the SUV he was driving drifted off the road and slammed into a tree about 9:15 a.m.. Clark was alone at the time of the crash. Troopers said Clark may have fallen asleep. The crash was near the Littleton-Houlton town line and about one mile north of the State Police barracks in Houlton. Clark was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer.
