NASHVILLE PLANTATION – Martha L. (Orcutt) Prue, 62, wife of Allan Prue, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at her home. Martha was born Feb. 2, 1947, in Masardis, the youngest child of Rosalvo and Ruth Orcutt. Martha enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Martha devoted most of her time in recent years to Ashland Motor Lodge and was loved by co-workers and customers alike. She is survived by her husband, Allan Prue; two children, Vicki (Prue) Hahn and her husband, Scott, of Epsom, N.H., and Richard Prue and Lori Plourde of Caribou; two grandchildren, Emma and Molly Hahn; four siblings, William Orcutt of Eureka, Mont., John Orcutt of Garfield Plantation, Lois (Orcutt) Farr of Ashland and Lorene (Orcutt) Singer of Fredericksburg, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Martha will be dearly missed by two very special friends, Carol Ireland and Joyce Eastman. A private memorial service will be held for family and dear friends at her childhood home in Ashland.
