FRENCHVILLE and NEW CANADA – Juliette (Bard) Pelletier, 71, died peacefully Oct. 30, 2009, surrounded by her family at a Frenchville health care facility. Juliette was born Feb. 1, 1938, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, the daughter of Lucien and Lorraine (Richard) Bard. Juliette enjoyed knitting and her favorite pastime was working with flower arrangements – making arts and crafts. She was active in Daigle, having served on the committee for New Canada Community Center. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jean Paul Pelletier of New Canada; her son, Andre and his wife, Deborah Pelletier, of Berryville, Va.; two stepgrandchildren, Benjamine Mabry of Tampa, Fla., and Erin Mabry of Berryville, Va.; one brother, Jean Paul Bard and his wife, Edwina; one sister, Yvette Plourde and her husband, Donald, all of Edmundston, New Brunswick; and special family friend, Louise Albert of St. Francois, New Brunswick. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Luc Bard; and two sisters, Gertrude Ouellette and Jeannine Dionne. Friends may call 8 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be held at a later date at Holy Family Cemetery, Daigle.
