CHERRYFIELD – Marjorie M. Burns, 81, died Nov. 1, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Cherryfield, daughter of the late Ernest and Edna (Bagley) Harrington. Marjorie enjoyed traveling to Massachusetts with her mother and venturing out to eat. She was predeceased by her brother, William Burns; and granddaughter, Gloria Pinkham. Marjorie is survived by her children, Astrid Espeaignette and her husband, George, of New Gloucester, Gloria Pinkham of Brewer, Robert Burns of Bangor, and Jimmy Burns of Milbridge; grandchildren, Darrell, Dekota, Me’shach, Ezue, Laurie, Dianna, Eddie and Cary; as well as 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Clifford Harrington of California, Ernest Harrington Jr. of Massachusetts, Lillian Reinhard of Florida, Eleanor Leighton of Steuben and Addie Keene of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews.
