HAMPDEN – Harold D. ‘Skip’ Crosby Jr., 59, passed away Nov. 5, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 26, 1950, in Bangor, the son of Harold Sr. and Donna (Morrill) Crosby. Skip was a longtime Hampden resident, where he owned and operated Skip’s Workcrafts. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Pamela (Costain) Crosby; his mother, Donna Forsythe, both of Hampden; one son, Richard W. Crosby and wife, Teresa, of Brooksville; sisters, Ruth Simmons and Connie Crosby; five grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Taylor; and special friends, Calvin and Elaine Grant. He was predeceased by his father, Harold Sr.; a daughter, Michelle Richards; brother, Mark Crosby; and stepbrother, Bart Crosby. A gathering of family and friends will be held 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Skip’s home, 616 Kennebec Road, Hampden.
