ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR The Maine Municipal Bond Bank seeks applicants for the position of Accounting Administrator. The Maine Municipal Bond Bank is an independent state agency created to issue bonds and notes to finance capital improvement projects for Maine cities, towns, schools, counties and other eligible borrowers. The Accounting Administrator will maintain the Authority’s general ledger; prepare quarterly financial statements and will work closely with the external auditors during the annual audit. The Accounting Administrator will prepare the weekly payroll and all associated reporting and will also perform all accounts receivable invoicing including monitoring payments. Applicants shall have completed 2-3 years of college in business administration or accounting and 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting or finance role. Familiarity with fund accounting is preferable, especially as it relates to the issuance of tax-exempt bonds. Prior payroll administration is preferred. Also requires a demonstrated knowledge in Platinum for Windows and ABRA payroll or equivalent software administration. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
