HAMPDEN – Catherine Joan Recker, 78, passed away Nov. 8, 2009, at a Brewer health care facility. She was born June 11, 1931, in Bangor, daughter of the late Stewart I. and Catherine A. (O’Leary) Charlton. Joan was a graduate of Bangor High School, Class of 1949, and was a banker with Merrill Trust Co., for 30 years. She is survived by a sister, F. Nadine Hoyt of Hampden. Joan was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Recker, in 1978; and by a sister, Lorraine D. Hoyt. Private interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
