BANGOR – Adelbert “Bud” Walter Lee, 72, died Nov. 9, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Danforth, the son of Walter S. and Edith (Craig) Lee. Bud served his country in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Western Europe as an aircraft technician, 1955-1958. He was a longtime automotive technician in the Bangor region for many years. Bud was a longtime member of Bangor Elks Lodge BPOE No. 244 and Brewer Eagles Club. He is survived by two sons, Peter Lee and wife, Lori, of Bangor, and Christopher Lee of Hampden; four sisters, Hazel Anderson and husband, Orland, of Saratoga, Calif., Joyce Fish and husband, Frank, of Lincoln, Donna Chase and husband, Dave, of Gwinn, Mich., and Sharon Snyder of Enfield, Conn.; three grandchildren, Audrie, Darrick and Jonathan; several aunts and cousins in New Brunswick. Services will be private for the family. Interment will be at Danforth Cemetery, Danforth. Gifts in his memory may be made to Maine Veterans’ Home, 44 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME 04401.
