HAMLIN – Patricia I Beaulieu, 61, died unexpectedly Nov. 8, 2009, at a Caribou hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1947, in St. Francis, the daughter of Albert and Irene (Michaud) Cyr. She was educated in St. Francis schools and was a 1967 graduate of Fort Kent Community High School. Prior to her retirement and relocation to Hamlin three years ago, Patricia worked for many years at Aetna Insurance in Connecticut. She was a member of Evangeline Circle, Daughters of Isabella and Van Buren Columbiettes. Patricia is survived by one son, Scott Cyr of Fort Fairfield; one stepdaughter, Lorry Brown; one stepson, Larry Beaulieu Jr., both of Connecticut; one sister, Roseann Ruel and her husband, Robert, of Hamlin; four brothers, Roland Cyr and wife, Mae, of Southington, Conn., James Cyr and wife, Gladys, of Windsor, Conn., Bertrand Cyr of New Britain, Conn., and Gene Cyr of Casper, Wyo.; and two stepgrandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Larry Beaulieu; and by two brothers, Ervin and Michael Cyr. Relatives and friends may call 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be at West Cemetery, Plainville, Conn., and scheduled at a later date.
