BOSTON, Mass. — Maine and Northeastern split their weekend Hockey East series in Boston.
Maine’s three-game winning streak ended Saturday night when the Black Bears lost 5-2. Maine is now 4-6-0 on the season 3-3-0 in Hockey East play. Northeastern improves to 4-5-0 and 2-4-0.
Maine goalie Scott Darling made 30 saves in goal Saturday. Chris Rawlings stopped 34 shots for the Huskies.
Maine beat Northeastern Friday night 6-2.
The Black Bears return to action on Friday when they host Boston College at Orono.
