Many gun owners believe a new round of regulations is coming, whether in Maine or nationally, that would restrict the sale of some weapons, or require more checks before guns can be sold. Do you share this view? Is the Obama administration bent on restricting
gun owner-ship? Is Maine state government poised to do the same? Do gun laws need further refinement? With the rise of on-line data bases, should the sale of all guns be subject to some kind of back-ground check? Or is this an invasion of privacy? Are certain kinds of weapons inherently more dangerous than others? Or will guns always be abused by criminals, and it doesn’t mat-ter what is legal and illegal?

The current system works just fine. Remember this-IF GUNS ARE OUTLAWED-ONLY OUTLAWS WILL HAVE GUNS.
Make stiffer laws for gun toting felons-or better yet, when you do bust them, leave them in the can for awhile!
