FRENCHVILLE – Rose T. Dufour, 78, was called to the Lord Nov. 26, 2009. She was born Aug. 23, 1931, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Donat E. and Amanda (Chasse) Michaud. She is survived by her loving husband, Leo Gerald Dufour of Frenchville; four sons, Gary Dufour and his wife, Martha (Hurtado), of Tucson, Ariz., Gregory Dufour of Houston, Texas, John Dufour and his wife, Karen (St. Jarre), of Old Orchard Beach and Matthew Dufour and his wife, Rebecca (Ellorin), of Saco; five grandchildren, Holly and Erik Dylan of Tucson, Ariz., Austin of Old Orchard Beach, Addison and Olivia of Saco; three brothers, Don Michaud and his wife, Mona, Robert Michaud, and Jean Michaud and his wife, Cecile, all of St. Agatha; three sisters, Angela Raymond and her husband, Omer, of Sarasota, Fla., Patricia Landry of Edmundston, New Brunswick, and Jean Crabtree of Ossipee, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Florine Michaud of St. Agatha; many nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Richard and his wife, Aline, Raymond and his wife, Bertha, and Jack Michaud; a sister-in-law, Maxine Michaud; and a brother-in-law, Gil Landry. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and family may call 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be later in the spring at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 51 U.S. Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME 04074. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Daigle Funeral Home.
