At Grand Forks, N.D., Brittany Dougherty, Jenna Ouellette and Taryn Peacock each had a goal and an assist, but it wasn’t enough to get a win and the Black Bears settled for a tie with North Dakota.
Each team scored twice in the third period.
Myriam Croussette and Jennie Gallo scored the other two goals for the 3-9-4 Black Bears. Candice Currier made 29 saves on 34 shots.
For the 3-6-2 Fighting Sioux, Alyssa Wiebe, Allison Parizek, Mary Loken, Susanne Fellner and Sara Dagenais each scored one goal. Stephanie Ney made 19 saves on 24 shots.

NBA D-LEAGUE
Skyforce 112, Red Claws 95

At Sioux Falls, S.D., the Skyforce pulled ahead of the Maine Red Claws in the second quarter and led the rest of the way in the season opener for both teams.
Reggie Williams poured in a game-high 29 points for the Skyforce, and Keith Brumbaugh posted 18.
Bill Walker led the Red Claws, based in Portland and affiliated with the Boston Celtics, with 25 points, and Bill Walker added 18.
