BANGOR – Mildred A. Ashe, 80, died Nov. 28, 2009, at her residence. She was born July 1, 1929, in Hampden, the daughter of Leon and Millie (Mann) Perkins. Mildred was an active homemaker who enjoyed cooking, knitting and crocheting. She was predeceased by her parents; and two grandchildren, William R. Smith IV and Robert P. Stubbs III. Survivors include her children, Dianne Mushrow and husband, Bob, of Hampden, Frances Savoy and husband, Ernie, of Glenburn and Robert “Bobby” Stubbs Jr. and wife, Pam, of Hampden; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. At Mildred’s request, private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Direct Cremation of Maine, Belfast.
