HARRINGTON – John T. Barnes, 65, died Dec. 2, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 9, 1944, in Brattleboro, Vt., son of Stewart and Ruth Barnes. A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Dec. 12 at Harrington Veterans’ of Foreign Wars Hall, with a time to share memories with the family afterward.
