BREWER – Robert B. Cameron, 49, died unexpectedly Dec. 12, 2009, at his home. He was born March 30, 1960, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the son of Alan H. Cameron and Jean A. (Weaver) Townsend. Robert was a 1978 graduate of Brewer High School, graduated from Eastern Maine Community College and worked as an industrial pipefitter and welder for many companies throughout the country. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed drives in the back woods hunting and fishing. Robert cherished the times he spent with his family, especially swimming, kayaking and long walks with his mother. He was also a sports fan and loved watching the Patriots. Surviving, in addition to his mother, Jean A. Townsend of Brewer; his father, Alan H. Cameron and his wife, Johanna, of Orono; are his wife, Teresa Lynn Mullins of Bangor; children, Jennifer Cameron of Morganton, N.C., Dylan Cameron of Levant, and Robert “Robbie” Cameron Jr. of Bangor; stepchildren, Anjuli Francis Madison of Sanford, Drew Francis of the U.S. Army, Christopher and Matthew Curtis, both of Hermon, although Rob would tell you they were all his children; one brother, Gary A. Cameron of Milford, N.H.; two half brothers, Kevin L. Townsend of Oakland, Calif., and Bruce W. Basler of Brewster, Wash.; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Rob’s life will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.
