MILFORD – Martin M. Ramsey, 72, died Dec. 25, 2009, three years to the day from his beloved wife, Lorraine’s death. He was born Aug. 28, 1937, in Milford, the son of William and Helen Ramsey. Surviving are a daughter, Laurie Johndro and her husband, Barry, of Orrington; a son, Sam Ramsey and his wife, Kristal, of Castlewood, Va.; grandchildren, Amy Johndro and her fiance, Dan Hanscom, of Orrington, Lindsey Johndro of Orrington, and Veronica Hall of Castlewood, Va.; a sister, Lucy Dufour of Old Town; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Ramsey of Calais and Ethel Ramsey of Waterville; many nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Susan Batchelder of Greenbush. He was predeceased by brothers, John, Raymond, Henry and Herbert; and sisters, Bertha, Lucreatia, Grace and Bessie. Interment for the family will be held in the spring.
