ORONO – Wendie Mae King, 37, died unexpectedly Dec 27, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1972, in Bangor, the daughter of Elsie (Howard) Stone and Roger Stone. Wendie loved her family and helping others. She was a 1992 graduate from Orono High School and enjoyed snowmobiling and many outdoor activities. Wendie is survived by a son, Trevor; Travis King; her mother, Elsie Stone and her husband, Roger, of Orono; siblings, Ruth Gallagher and her husband, Danny, of Glenburn, Gloria Braley and her husband, David, of Glenburn, Laura Eberhart and her husband, Earl, of Bangor, Joseph Welch of Bangor, Edward LaMarre and his wife, Michelle, of Bangor, Wendy Henderson of Littleton, and Brett Currie of Houlton; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Wendell B. Currie; and an infant son, Brad Lee Braley. There will be a casual gathering 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan 2, 2010, at 137 Philips Road, Glenburn.
