In Loving Memory Of WENDIE MAE (WELCH) KING Dec. 6, 1972 – Dec. 27, 2009 While others are figuring out whom not to forget as to not upset anyone, I sit and I think about my sister, after all it’s all really about Wendie. I just keep thinking about how she and I just discussed and laughed about, how we have the closest, furthest apart family we know. We talked just this month about why we never get together and why we all seem so mad at each other for absolutely no reason. I guess Wendie wins. We all got together. Wendie always was a kind and thoughtful person; she would go out of her way to help anyone. Wendie would always tell you straight up, even if you didn’t want to hear what she thought, you were going to hear it anyway, and she wasn’t about to butter it up. I am grateful that I had the pleasure of being one of her brothers. This was a wonderful honor. I will miss Wendie’s wonderful laughter and straightforward style. I could fill a newspaper about thoughts and feeling, but unless you knew Wendie, you could not possibly know how much she will be missed. Wendie we love you and you will be missed everyday by your mother, son, siblings, friends and family. God take care of my little sister. Amen.
