At Dyer Brook, Dakota Sleeper hit a 3-pointer with nine seconds remaining, lifting the Warriors to victory over the resilient Hawks.
Sleeper, a senior guard, finished with a game-high 27 points on his way to scoring the 1,000th point of his career. He had 999 points going into the contest.
Cody Robinson netted 10 points for Southern Aroostook, which trailed by three points at one point in the fourth quarter. Jesse Small grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked five shots.

At Hampden, Clark Noonan scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Bangor avenged a season-opening loss to the Broncos.
Patrick Stewart added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Rams, while Zach Blodgett scored 11 points with nine rebounds.
Graham Safford led 7-2 Hampden Academy with 17 points, while Jacob Moore added 15.
Hampden made 6 of 9 shots from beyond the 3-point arc in the first half while building a 29-21 lead at intermission.
But Bangor (6-2) clamped down on Hampden’s perimeter shooters — the Broncos were just 1 of 9 from long range in the sec
ond half — and used its overall height advantage to work the ball inside offensively.
Noonan, Bangor’s 6-foot-6 senior center, made all five of his second-half field goal attempts, helping the Rams shoot 61 percent (13 of 19) from the field over the final two periods.
Bangor took the lead for good at 38-36 on a 3-pointer by Tristan Thomas with 1:15 left in the third quarter and built its advantage to as many as seven points midway through the final period, the final time at 46-39 on an inside basket by Noonan with 3:54 to play.
Hampden rallied behind three driving baskets by Safford, and pulled within 48-47 when Safford fed Moore for a layup off a Bangor turnover with a minute to play. But the Broncos couldn’t capitalize on a couple of subsequent possessions, and one free throw by Bangor point guard Luke Hetterman with 8.2 seconds left and two Noonan free throws with two seconds remaining put the game away.

Camden Hills held an 11-point lead in the final period, but Winslow cut the gap to four points before Duke’s free-throw shooting helped the Windjammers preserve the victory.
Taylor Porter and freshman Jordan Knowlton each had 14 points for Camden Hills, while Maddie Smeaton had eight points, 13 rebounds and four steals.
Duke also had five steals and four assists for the Windjammers.

Parsons finished with nine points off the bench for Hampden while Julia Snyder contributed six. Stephenson led a Hampden defense which forced 29 Bangor turnovers with six steals.
