BANGOR – Annabelle Mary Millett, 78, died Jan. 9, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born June 17, 1931, in Brewer, the daughter of George H. and Emma M. (Clishe) Millett. Annabelle had been employed in the cafeteria at Eastern Maine Medical Center. She was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, a member of the women’s council at St. John’s and was a volunteer at Dorothea Dix Soup Kitchen. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Helms, Ellen Zimmerman and Elizabeth Rogers; three brothers, Patrick Lahey, Frederick Lahey and Timothy Lahey; a nephew, Lloyd Rogers; and a niece, Mary Ellen Miller. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
