SAN DIEGO – Henry Warren Scribner, 76, died at home Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, eight years to the day that his beloved wife, Marcella Uneeda Ouellette, passed away. He was born Sept. 22, 1933, in Patten, and was the eldest son of Archer Joseph Scribner and Yvonne Pinette. He loved the woods of Maine and he loved fishing. He never quite got over the loss of his beloved Marcy. She was his guiding hand and with her loss, he seemed to lose his way. Perhaps she can guide him now. Warren is survived by four siblings, Barbara Runnels of Veazie, Peter Scribner of Kenduskeag, Paul Scribner of Henderson, Nev., and Wade Scribner of Rochester, N.H.; and by his nine children, Mark Warren Scribner, Debra Marie Gibb, Eric Daniel Scribner and Sonya Anne Scribner, all of San Diego, Karen Louise Scribner of Ramona, Calif., Kurt Caleb Scribner of Bozeman, Mont., Karl Hugh Scribner of Reno, Nev., Coral Belinda Allen of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Laura Lee Hester of Camarillo, Calif.; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being made to scatter his ashes according to his wishes.
