MILFORD – Aurelle J. Thibodeau, formerly of Meriden, Conn., passed peacefully into the hands of his heavenly family, Jan. 20, 2010. Aurelle was born July 13, 1919, the son of George and Marie (Violette) Thibodeau in Siegas, New Brunswick. Aurelle was employed for many years as a woodsman, helped on the family potato farms, Maine Cement Co. and International Silver Corp., Meriden, Conn. He was a color guard and fourth degree lifetime member of Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Eagles Club, Brewer and belonged to various French Clubs in Connecticut and Florida. He is survived by his longtime loving companion, Pauline Chagnon of Eastman, Quebec, and St. Petersburg, Fla.; his sons, Roland Thibodeau of Glendale, Ariz., Rudy Thibodeau and wife, Doreen, of Milford, Gilman Thibodeau and companion, Gloria Mitchell, of Milford, Michael Thibodeau and wife, Marilyn, of Chandler, Ariz., and Rick Thibodeau of Bangor; a daughter, Florence Thibodeau of Meriden, Conn.; six grandchildren, Julie Thibodeau and Cherie Krupinski of Glendale, Ariz., Ronda and Rob St. Louis of Glenburn, Renee and Rick Ouellette of Hermon, Robin Thibodeau of Milford and Danielle and Doug Jarczyk of Chandler, Ariz.; and great-grandchildren, Cody and Jacob St. Louis, Ellie and Carter Ouellette, Joshua, Faith and Sarah Krupinski and Derek Jarczyk. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Dorina A. Thibodeau; and siblings, Cecile Dube, Robert Thibodeau, Alyre Thibodeau, Laurette Violette and Adelaide Gagnon. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Members of the Knights of Columbus will conduct prayers at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Parish, Holy Family Parish, Old Town. Immediately after the service all are invited to the Parish Hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Spring burial will be conducted at St. Joseph Cemetery.
