BRADLEY – Earline Dolores Bresnahan, 69, passed away Jan. 29, 2010, and went to be with her loving husband, John. She was born May 20, 1940, the daughter of Earl and Christine (Travis) Harrington. Earline was a devout member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley. She was a life member of Ladies Auxiliary at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 3381, and she was a part of the Thursday afternoon senior bowling league. She was the “best mother ever.” Earline loved going to camp at Beech Hill Pond, because it always involved her family. Earline is survived by her three daughters, Kelli McNerney and her husband, Kip, Lori Bresnahan and her partner, Kristen Littlefield – “our fourth sister,” – and Trudi Federico and her husband, Terry; and her grandson, “the apple of her eye,” Johnathan Bresnahan. She is also survived by her brother, Alan Harrington; her half sister, Denise Gottschalk; and her two faithful companions, Molly and Maizey. She will be sadly missed by a very special friend, Paula Emerson. In addition to her parents, Earline was predeceased by her husband, John Clark Bresnahan; and her two brothers, Norman “Bumper” Harrington and William Harrington. The family gives their thanks to New Hope Hospice, especially their guardian angel, Valerie, for the wonderful care and compassion they gave. Family and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at St. Ann’s Church, Bradley. The burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hammond Street, Bangor.
