PEMBROKE – On Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, Wayne and Lorraine (Andrews) Rice, passed away the way they lived – together. They were predeceased by their two sons, Wayne Jr. and Edwin; and daughter, Melody. They are survived by daughters, Sally-Jo Rice and Janice “Jana” Rice; grandchildren, Christopher, Alison, Rainya, Karami and Jared; as well as great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Pembroke Elementary School, with a celebration of their lives beginning 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in their memory to Washington County Community College Polar Dip, to benefit the Ronald McDonald House, Bangor.
