NEWBURGH – Lenora Irene Philbrook, 79, wife of the late Alden Philbrook, passed away Feb. 16, 2010, at her home. She was born March 9, 1930, in Hampden, daughter of Austin and Doris (Patterson) Wing Sr. She attended Hampden schools and formerly was employed by Freese’s Department Store and retired from ANZAC, MA/COM, Electronics of Bangor. Lenora is survived by her daughter and husband, Pamela and Clarence Hamilton of Newburgh; grandson, Zachariah Hamilton and his wife, Melissa; great-grandson, Riley Hamilton; her sister, Wilma Eckert of Milo; stepdaughters, Ramona Hatt of Corinth, Gloria and her husband, Dudley Van Nostrand, of Harris, N.Y., Linda Hartley of Levant, Bonnie and her husband, Brian Janes, of Rockville, Conn., and Georgia and her husband, Gordon Rinks, of Corinth; several stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Austin Wing Jr., Ernest Wing and Elwyn Wing; two sisters, Helen Libby and Donna Philbrook; stepson, Raymond Philbrook Sr.; and a special friend, Lewis Arsenault.
