STOCKHOLM – Brenda S. (Forsman) Zeigler, 46, went home to be with the Lord March 9, 2010, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 17, 1963, in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of Charles and Diane (Lamprey) Forsman. Brenda moved to Stockholm in April 1979. She finished her high school years at Caribou High School, graduating in June 1981. Throughout the years Brenda worked quality control for Mecon, Chand Association and Forsman Sintered Products. Brenda moved to Alaska in July of 1997 and returned to Stockholm in September of 2008. Gardening was her passion and she enjoyed the bright colors of the flowers. She had beautiful flowerbeds and was very proud of them. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing and most of all being with her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Scott Zeigler of Cordova, Alaska; three children, Michael Drost of Limestone, Cortney Zeigler and Zakary Zeigler, both of Stockholm; and a brother, Brian Forsman and his wife, Debbie, of Memphis, Tenn. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many friends. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at Woodland First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Rosser officiating. A reception will be held after the service in the church fellowship hall. Committal services will take place in the spring at Stockholm Cemetery.
