OLD TOWN – Jeanette M. Robichaud, 85, died March 14, 2010, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. She was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Ashland, one of six daughters born to Joseph and Annie (Brasslett) King. Jeanette attended schools in Hudson and later became a hairdresser for many years. She married Lionel Robichaud, July 2, 1955. Jeanette was a very prayerful person; always praying for one’s many needs. She was a very special and gifted person. She enjoyed her many houseplants, doing crafts, knitting and crocheting, and sharing these gifts with her family. She enjoyed and loved her family and grandchildren. She lived a Cursillo four-day weekend at St. Paul’s Center, Augusta, and is now living the fifth day. She will be sadly missed. Rest in peace. She is survived by a son, Scott Robichaud; a daughter, Maria Corliss and her husband, Victor; grandchildren, Brittany Corliss, Kristi Corliss and Gabriel Melanson; sister, Florence Littlefield, Teresa Linscott, Shirley Raymond, and Donna Spencer and her husband, Stanley; a special niece, Karen Paradis; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel, in 2002; a sister, Lorraine Hachey; and her parents. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church of the Parish of the Resurrection, Old Town. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
