ORONO – Mary V. Shine, 87, died March 24, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 5, 1923, in Bangor, the daughter of Wilfred and Clara (Dwyer) Shine. Mary was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Orono; a member of the Daughters of Isabella; and a member of Orono Senior Citizens. She is survived by her very special friend, Donna Foltz and her husband, Leonard, of Orono; and two cousins, Elaine Bouchard of Portland and Avis Manship of Brewer. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 29, at Brookings-Smith, LaBeau Chapel, 72 Main St., Orono. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service Monday.
